Pilots-Korea BETA 1.0 - elephant - 18.10.2009

First beta of pilot skins dressed and equiped properly for Korean War missions.
Various skins for the USAF and two generic ones proper for NK or Communist Chinese AF
and Soviet under cover allies...(Their uniforms/equipment, were the same)

Installation:
1. Copy the .bmp files to \IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\PaintSchemes\Pilots
2. Copy the .tga file to \IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\Mods\F-86A-5 Sabre\Plane\Textures

I'm leaving on a long buisness trip, for the next couple of months...

The correct path to copy the .tga is:

\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\Mods\F-86A-5 Sabre\3DO\Plane\Textures

I was in a hurry to upload, before leaving, that I missed a file... :oops:
in the installation instructions included in the download.

Usefull Trivia:
Communist pilots didn't wore any life-jackets as flying over sea was stricktly prohibited... :roll:
Their flying gear was copied from German WWII examples... :twisted:

Of course I could... I have allready gathered the info required...
I can't do anything till Xmas holidays though, as I'm away from home and my computer, on a buisness trip.

He is in winter dress, The same uniform was worn by the USAF,
(besides the life jacket that is Navy issued).
Dont you worry I have the Toko-Ri Bridges movie myself for reference.
I'm still on the road...As soon as I'll be back to base, (in a couple of weeks),
I'll finish the Korean war project...
