Lost 4.09 - semperaggressus - 19.10.2009
Hi,Friends!
I have installed the new version of AAA MOD Version 1.2 4.09b1m.
But I lost the planes (SM.79,CW21,G55,ect),maps, from 4.09.
Need help.

You will not find them in the UI1.2 version..You will have to switch to the stock version to see the new content.. There are switchers out there that will let you switch between 4.09m & 4.09b1mM.

You can get all of your 4.09m planes back this way:
I got my game to patch all the way up using 4.09m and UI 1.2 using the following method:
1. Clean install of IL-2 patched to 4.08m
2. Install UI 1.1
3. Install UI 1.2 with patch
4. Manually install 4.09m (just to see if there was any conflicts), and there were none.
5. Manually install the 4.09m skin pack, again to make sure that there was no conflicts (none).
6. Install SASMODACTv2.1_for_Premodded and make the changes to the files he listed in his "readme". This is really easy if you have never done it because he lists all the files necessay and their addons.
7. Added the SAS_Buttons_v2.3 per the instructions (UI 1.2 compliant) and renamed the original UI 1.2 buttons file to prevent crashes.
8. Finally used the SAS presets sound file as a base (to ensure all the new planes have engine sounds) and then installed the UI 1.2 presets sounds file on top of the SAS presets sounds file.
Absolutely nothing difficult, just time consuming if you follow all the instructions that are in the SAS mod folder's readme files. And a small side point, I did not get into IL-2 until two weeks ago (a real IL-2 noob), so if I can do it, you can too.
If you really want to get slick and be able to switch between stock 4.09m , 40.9m + UI 1.2 or 4.09m + UI 1.2 + 6D TIR, you just have to add the correct files to the UI 1.2 mod switcher folders.
