Mouse cursor will work about 50% of the time... - RepublicofTexas - 19.10.2009
How do you fix this?
- Guest - 19.10.2009
you mean like when you get to the briefing map in MP, the cursor is frozen ?
- XB-49 - 19.10.2009
Try hitting the "Start" key when that happens. It should bring you back to your desktop menu. Then click the IL2 bar at the bottom of the screen and your mouse should work.

sometime you have to make it twis...

I have to do this also, my question, WHY??? Its so annoying!!!

Same question here... I was told that it happens when you start IL2 with UI, then click somewhere else. The problem is: I desperately avoid clicking anywhere else during this period and still it happens, at about 50% of all cases. I would also be evry interested in any information in how to get rid of this annoying and - from my point of view - absolutely needless nuisance.
[I would bet it's some kind of "MS Windows does this to you" thing...]

Yes.. this has been happenning since the start.. it's not a show stopper, simply hit the windows key, return to desktop and then back into IL2.. I have to do this twice on initial start up, it takes less than 7 seconds to be back on the main screen.

The only way I got rid of it was a
clean install of 4.08 + UI 1.1 + UI 1.2 + 4.09 + SAS.
When I loaded UI 1.2 on top of an older modded UI 1.1 the first time, it hung EVERY time and I had to use the "go around" solution till I got tired of it and reinstalled.

I'll try it, thanks fellas.
