Hi all,
i have read the the thread on the mod and MOD folder but... i haven't this folder! I tryied to create it and insert the mods but it doesn't work.
Can you please help me understanding were i'm wrong?!

I try to explain:
i own the entire serie of IL2 (bought with games magazine when the game is cheaper) but i'm not very happy to have 3 installation and have to switch to fly an aircraft instead of another.
So i found on the net someone that put alltogheter (i think) and i use this version.
I do not know if there was a patching process on this version.

If you install the Unified Installer 1.1, everything will automatically be taken care of. It installs all the files necessary to use mods, without you having to worry about doing it right or reading too many instructions.

If you have a CD installed game, you will have originally installed to version 4.07

-Patch this to version 4.08 with the 4.08 patch

-Then install the UI 1.1

If you have no or little experience with modding this game, don't try and do it step by step, but use the Unified Installer. Much easier.

Also take care that you start the process with a clean 4.07 install. If you've been trying to install mods and haven't been successful, don't try and fix things.

Start anew with a clean install of 4.07. It will save you much time and aggravation in the long run.

Patched succesfully to 4.08.
Now i try UI... i'll let you know!

Takes very long to download UI from AAA... anybody can mirror it to rapidshare?

I'm not able to dowload UI... i try and try again but nothing: download is very slow and stops always.
Anybody can upload to an external mirror, please?
