Joystick Thrustmaster and San's FOV changer -
elot - 29.10.2009
Hello,
I use the latest version of San's FOV Changer and have been reading a lot about the joystick support that is build in (also read SAS and sim-outhouse site etc).
But untill now, is have not yet found out, why my Thrustmaster is not recognised by FOV Changer.
It does not matter if i first start FOV Changer and then IL2 or vice versa.
What am i doing wrong?
Or is the thrustmaster (HOTAS) not working and will i have to keep using the keyboard?

my bro had same problem with an x52 and it worked in my pc, so was not the joystick but his pc.
Try to connect other joystick just to see if it is recognized. In my pc x52 x52pro logitech momo and also logitech extreme are recognized. I did not find any joy that was not recognized.
Also download again the fov changer soft and use a new copy. it could be corrupt.
good luck

Hello Peybolman,
I tried an old Logitech 3dpro extreme, but that also did not work.
The previous version of FOV Changer did also not work (i installed the newest version this week).
Windows does recognize the old and new joystick, installed the drivers (already tried several USB ports, just to be sure) and i can use them with IL2 and other programs, without any further software (windows vista drivers).
@coatesy75:
Yes, i also use it and it works great. Finally i don't see the flickering of screenchanges from highres to lowres etc.
Great Mod.
