Missing Air.ini - Skytrain - 07.11.2009

Well the title says it all.

The problem is that in my MODS folder there are MODS/STD/ and only 3do, gui and i18n... So why aren't there any "com" folder there? :?

Hi Skytrain Big Grin
I'm really surprised at this, and if you follow this thread: viewtopic.php?t=22402
You'll see that Uberdood seems to have the same problem as you. I'm trying to help him out with it, so if you follow that thread, hopefully we'll get the solution.
I need to know what install you guys have, is it a recent fresh UI install?
I'm hoping one of the admins will chime in here soon, as I think this is possibly an issue with a default UI install, and possibly this doesn't come with a standard com folder which normally has the air.ini in it.
Only after installing some UI planes will you get the com folder with the air.ini in it.
It's been awhile for me, because I haven't used a stock UI install in over a year, so my memory's not serving me too well here. :?
I vaguely remember the UI coming without this, then if you added new planes (don't ask me which?) the com folder with the air.ini would be added.
I haven't had a similar problem in quite some time, and am really surprised that you don't have one.
Hopefully one of the admins can give better clarity on this soon....

Anyway, keep an eye on the thread I linked you to, hopefully we'll solve this soon....
Like I asked Uberdood, pease provide a bit more info on your install - which mod pack, which version, etc.
This'll help me to figure out what's happening here...

I just checked all the U.I. back to 1.0, and they all come with the air.ini, but Mod Activator v5.2 does not. Probably same for the basic ENG Sound Mod, but I haven't checked.

- Skytrain - 07.11.2009

I have downloaded; Eng_Sound mod 6.8? and The mod activator 5.2 and wrapper.exe and AC Installer 3.8 and I haven't got the Ui. Im downloading 1.2 now

- KG64_Ðørvånski - 07.11.2009

After you install 1.2, I can send you my air.ini if you would like. you would have to create a folder called air.ini, but you could just copy&paste what I sent you into that file (air.ini)

You do know, that you must have 1.1 installed BEFORE installing 1.2 don't you?

If you want to stick with the Mod Activator you have now, you should be able to just create the path, and put the air.ini in the folder. You would just have to get someone to send you the file.

Ok, will someone just send me the file and explain the path?

If somebody can send you their default air.ini, the path is described in the other thread I linked to earlier...
