The groups of tanks travel in line on roads and across country....but when they get near enemy they go into another formation..
It is easy to create larger then four groups of tanks in the chief.ini file

Thanks but wheres the location of chief ini and what I have to change there. I searched for it in the il2 1946 folder but no result.

Look around in the STD folder in the MOD directory.
