once again i fail on the basic level - 617 Bomber - 09.11.2009

ok so my pain fillled journy starts when i come to this site 1 year ago and install ui.1.1 it works fine and before i know it my game is nothing like the original but then disaster one fafed up install and
boom months my game working gone so i uninstall the game re-install it ui.1.1 re installed 4 months of il-2 being the sim it should have then once again everything is gone
so i type this today after the previous happening twice more a broken man with no more wish to look through the file structures to see what files are missing or corrupt
the reason? ui.got updated and as ever somthing goes wrong as i now have the tracer coulours missing and i suspect one or two other files
so anyone got an old copy of their old ui.1.1 in their downloads or even a un modded copy of il-2 as now it seems i have over written my un-modded back up with a non working modded version
and as ever the idiot that i am when i re-install the game it re-installs the mods also i was wondering weather i ought to give up on il-2 and wait for SOW instead yesterday but i realised that oleg is is being so thourgh in getting everything right (someone will find an error right after release thats what i have a bet on anyway) that young as i am i will still be 83 waiting for the release by oleg maddox the second of SOW.
as ever then i have not given up hope yet mods got me in to this medd mods will get me out again.

Hmm... I know that the UI 1.2 installer disables a few mods for compatibility. I had to re-enable my Halifax III. Check that your tracer mod folder hasn't a '-' in front of it, or that there's not another tracer mod pack that could conflict. Sorry about your problems, hope you manage to fix it!

Simply if you don't want mods or if you're looking for an unmodded game either rename the "MODS" and "files" folder or just delete them from your game install...

i get the following when the mission loads
loading failed: nul
and loading failed:no sim created files/3do/effects/tracer/red/mono
so i have run out of ideas
