I think that we are missing some of the other types of me262, the russian and japanese mod versions of it.

Here is the basic information. You can go digging cos I gotta go right now...

There you go. It would add the first japanese jet if completed and further complete the collection of 262's we already have...

This link concerns later Su-9, not similar to 262, but more to MiG-21. See the picture in that link.

These planes were all very different than the 262, both structurally and performance-wise, there's only a superficial similarity on the outside.

There was one direct copy of the 262, the Avia S-92 and CS-92 (two seat trainer version) which was built in small numbers post war. There were plans for mass-production for export but no orders materialized so the project died.

So, other than the Avia for which one can use the 262 as a base all of these would need to be built from scratch if one wish to make them properly.

No Messerschidt and karyu are 90% identical in outside structure. Compare 2 Blueprints. Only some details on the motor and the rudders are a bit different. Messerschmidt and Kikka, can't be compared in that fact you are right, but Karyu and Messerschmidt have very simmilar performance and proportions.

Su-9 (1946)
This twin-engine jet fighter was conceptually similar to the German Me 262. The engines were copies of the Junkers Jumo 004. It was advised that the Su-9 would enter production, but Stalin rejected it because of its similarity to the Me 262.

SU-11 (1947)
This was a development of the first Su-9. It retained its similarity to the Me 262, that caused Stalin to reject it. However, the Su-11 was the first Soviet jet fighter powered by indigenous engines. One built.

No they're not identical, far from it. :roll:

The similarities are only superficial, these are completely different planes.

ok wether they are like the 262 or not these planes would be a good addition especialy the japanese one because then the japanese would have their first jet. :-?
