You have to select the right pilot on the list...

On this fact, What settings do I need to use when saving them? Every time I make one, they never appear in game. I do use BMP, 24bit, 256 colours. Rather odd.

Save them the same way you would save a plane skin EXCEPT, you cannot have any spaces in the name of the file. They must be in BMP format, 256 colors. The same thing goes for any nose art you make as well.

Can't get the link to work. I go to the main site and try navigating there and also get a blank page when I get to the templates section. Pity.

Cipher,

Do you index the file before saving as a BMP? ... If using Photoshop (I'm guessing other programs use a similar method) then the process will be like this once your happy with your work ...

1 - Image / Mode / Indexed Colour

2 - File / Save as (BMP)

I tend to name mine (initially anyway) with an A or something similar in the title so as it shows near the top of the pilots selection list so that I know it's saved ok rather than hunting for it amongst others wondering where it is.

And lastly of course before saving your Photoshop file & or doing further work on it ...

3 - Edit / Step backward - (giving you back your layers)

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
