QMB+ in UP1.8 and HSFX4 - Griffon_301 - 10.11.2009

after using UI1.2 for about a week, I decided to take the plunge and use HSFX4 instead, faster load times and 4.09 compatibility finally lured me into doing so;
then, UP1.8 was released and from the readme, it promised to combine the best from UI1.2 and HSFX4, so I decided to
install that instead;

my question now is the following: Canons great map should be integrated into UP1.8 and I had it up and running in UI1.2 in the QMB+
strangely though, I cannot get it to run in UP1.8; anytime I try, I get a "wrong target selected" message in the QMB+ and that was it;
many other addon maps work in the QMB+, but Canons UK map, flyzoos Britain autumn map and some others do not;

I do have quick missions for all the maps and the conf.ini is set up correctly as well;

does anyone know whats going on and how I get Canons map to work in QMB+ under UP1.8?

If you go back and look at HSFX again, you will see that they chose the leave QMB+ and FMB+ out of the mod. I don't know if UP 1.8 tried to put it back in. You may need to go take a look at what UP 1.8 is supposed to have in it.

It is a 'mod-pack' that uses SFS archives as to save mods resulting in much faster loading game, very close to vanilla.

just put the qmb+ folder in your mods folder as normal, works fine for both hsfx and ultrapack1.8.
