The Flying Kiwis - 6 & 8th Nov '09 - nzwilliam - 11.11.2009
Here's a couple of screenshots from Friday and Sunday night with The Flying Kiwi's. Blue had a ball attacking the convoy, high speed skip bombing was the order of the day, and although it takes many 500kg bombs in the same spot to sink a carrier, we found it only took a couple in the front to dip the nose and make it very difficult for red to take off :twisted: ...enjoy :wink:

I think the original map was intended to be Fw-200's attacking allied shipping convoys off Norway with Hurries defending... could've been fun, but personally I perfer to fly axis fighters so I'm glad the planeset got broadened to include them. Without a few allied planeset alterations and the addition of a carrier to the fleet the convoy would have been decimated in no time and not much fun for red. Certainly added a new dimension to the map - good fun.

That was my bad. My Corsair gets ferry-flown to almost all campaigns. Was a bit of a mercenary fighter for the Royal Navy
At least I wasn't flying one of those German Corsairs you often see on other servers
