Windows7 vs Unix for IL2 - Grom29 - 11.11.2009

Hello!

I just want to know which OS is better for supporting The best Simulation IL2 ??

Thanks to you a lot guys

probably windows 7 because it supports it natively but ive ran IL-2 on *nix with wine and it ran very well just as it ran on windows, mods included.

Really? no significant speed drops? Heck, if so, I wonder if I can just run wine under OSX and run it that way.... hmm.

Your get better support here if you run it in your favorite windoze. I'm using 7x64 with a GT260 and it runs fantastic.

On the other hand, you Wine folks are a more adventurous lot. I used to be like that when I ran OS/2 WaRp back in the day.

I always wanted to have IL2 and nix but I was so noob, I could never get Teamspeak to run properly with sound on ubuntu. so I gave up and went to windows 7.
