Plane shine change in UI 1.2 - DaveOD06 - 11.11.2009

After upgrading to UI 1.2, I noticed that several planes (the CANT 1007, B17G, B29 to name a few) appear to be very shiny and it looks unrealistic. The planes look like they are covered in high gloss paint and they look "fake." Other aircraft don't seem to be effected by this, so I'm not sure what the deal is. Any thoughts about how to make the aircraft not as shiny? or even disable the plane shine altogether? I tried to take out the folder named "planeshine1_1" in MODS but it didn't seem to effect anything.

Dave, you're not alone. I started the same thread. My HO-229 looks like it's made out of anodized aluminum with a clearcoat, instead of plywood with mat paint.
