Ultimate smoke and fire mod help - Soldner726 - 15.11.2009

Ok so I am new to AAA and 1946, I got the fix for people who got the D2D version and I got the mod activator and then I downloaded the smoke and fire mod and put it into MODS folder, but then I started up the game and it didnt work. I know the activator worked because I saw the custom load screen and in the bottom right "4.08m, mods activated" and I also got the AI planes the activator unlocked but no smoke trails for my .50s and no 3d fire and smoke =( Thanks in advance for any help.

Heh, thanks I stayed up all night waiting for 1946 to download so I was runnin on empty and totally missed the mods discussion forum. Anyways I checked and all the info here is correct and that awesome fire & smoke mod wont work. I got the 3do and effects folders in my MODS folder and I still see "mods activated" when I start the game up. Thanks for help in advance, I will be on the computer later tonight (Im actually writing this post on my psp lol)
