Multiplayer IL2 1946 409m - Wad Cutter - 15.11.2009

Installed everything fine. Switcher works great. I can fly 409m just fine single player except I do have to press the windows key and go back into the game to get the mouse to work.
When trying to join a multiplayer game hosted by my friends in HyperLobby I can connect and join but IL2 freezes just after the 3,2,1,0 countdown viewing from the cockpit. I tried joining
other servers and the same thing happens. I have a good computer plenty of memory etc. Is any one else have this problem? What can I adjust? Is this a graphics issue. Please help, I do want to fly with my friends.

Anoth 4.09 online issue - petertheelf - 15.11.2009

Hi There . . . i am having similar problems with Hyper lobby and setting up for online gaming. I have reinstalled a fresh install of 1946, and gone through the patch process to 4.09, and in order to maximise compatibility, have left the game unmodded, but if I try to connect to ANY server, either 4.08, or 4.09, I get an error telling me I have a different version. if anyone can help with our smilar problems, I'm sure we would both appreciate it.
