Trying to add new aircraft. - Dragline - 15.11.2009

Hello folks

I'm new to all of this stuff. I've been playing IL2 for awhile now, but have just started to download new aircraft. I'm running version 4.08m.

My problem is that when I download some new aircraft and modify my air.ini file, when I restart my game it loads to about 60% and then crashes. When I remove the line I inserted in the ini file, viola, everything works fine again,

Some aircraft work, some don't.

Any ideas??

A 60% crash is a buttons file issue,you have to update the buttons file dang near every time you install a new plane.If I were you I'd just get the latest Aircraft installer-Buttons file and use that.

Or ju just install UI 1.2 (UI 1.1 is needed) and you have most of the planes here. The buutons file is modified to so you can add nearly every plane you want without risking a 60% CTT.
