IL2 Sturmovic 1946 Config Resets "Tweeks" - Printable Version

IL2 Sturmovic 1946 Config Resets "Tweeks" - crash_of_1943 - 21.11.2009

I have been doing to "tweeks" to the config sets in my IL2 Sturmovic 1946 and so far so good as the water looks better and the sky too !

I have noticed that their are two lines of the same thing at different parts of the config settings :


Sky is repeated 2 times
Forest is also
Landshading is also
Landdetails is also
HardwareShaders is also.

My question is this:
When i tweek the files that are repeated why are they duplicated and why are their 2 of them ?.... and when i reset one to a new value do i reset other one to the same changed value ?
As Sky 2 and the other Sky reset to same number also.

one value is for DirectX the other is for Opengl settings

GL=Opengl32.dll

Maybe one setting is for open GL and one is for DirectX you need to determine waht mode youre rinning and tweak those settings.
