Doing a little work in the stables... - Jaypack44 - 21.11.2009

Hi all, I've done a little more work on my P-51 template in the few hours of free time I had this week (I swear my professors collaborate to make sure that they assign all of the big projects and exams during the same week...), and so I thought I'd ask for some feedback. I added a lot of weathering to the template, and also made several adjustments and additions, some major, some minor. I also dulled down the wings a bit, to replicate the silver lacquer that was used on the real aircraft. I still have a few more adjustments to make, and then I'll start back on the unit generics.

Brilliant! I love what you have achieved with the texture of the metal. I've spent hours and hours trying to get that sheet metal look. The weathering is fantastic.
Jester, I've admired your work for some time now. You asking us for advice is like Picaso asking the local community college art class for advice. :wink:
