51stfis Sabre - US_GRANT - 24.11.2009

Some of you may have heard of this group. We are a new organization, but all the members have flown IL2 for some time now. Since the introduction of the KTO and the KTO jets, the 51stfis was formed from folks who have an affinity for the Korean War.

Our Sabres are fashioned after those found serving in the 51st Fighter Interceptor Wing during Korea with some embelishments unique to us. Here is a typical Sabre currently on duty with the 51st.
This is my personal mount. It's named "BOOG" after my father. The nickanme given to him by the Maryland State Troopers he served with. My father was in the US Army and stationed in Korea in the early 60s.

Thanks goes to HH_BLAZE for the basic template and to Bo_Nidle for the Nose Stripe. I did the unit markings. I also reskinned the external tanks and pylons. Those are still WIP IMO.

Styling and profiling in the KTO ~S Grant You and Blaze have done an exellent job. The template and the skins are awesome, I am as proud of my new ride {feelin lucky} as I have ever been with any aircraft.
