Did they manage to solve the sound barrier issue?
What's the use of adding transonic/supersonic aircraft if the game engine will explode them without any warning as soon as they touch the speed of sound?

If you use the Korea Pack, it has an FM mod of some type for jets. I can now do 745+ mph in the Korea Pack F-86D
Things very cool could happen from this

Solved by Freddy a while ago.

I don't fly jets much.
Some people are complaining about them still blowing up for no reason, that's why i asked. No point of having post-WW2 jets if theur performance has to be limited way below the actual.
But if it's really solved now, that's good. Gotta check it out!

The jets will explode at the maximum allowed speed in the default game......about 1150kph IIRC.
the new Coree pack includes new cockpit for Sabres and an extra FM folder which allows top speed without exploding...... it does mess with the bomb-bay doors mod though and causes CTD with many bombers when the bombs are released.

Edit. I have just checked and any one who has the F-86 and MiG from PeterD directly, should not have the issue of exploding mentioned, has any one actually used the ones by PeterD or are you assuming? The fix is there has been for ages. The Mach Mod was created by the same guy who did the Bombay doors and is compeltely compatible with everything else.

The Hunter is a great looking aircraft.. ironically, RAF F86 Sabre pilots felt that when they transitioned from the later F86F's to the early Hunters they were taking a large step backwards in performance..

I haven't had any explosion issues since the fm for the F 86 came out either from Peter D or Modpac Coree.
What a relief from the early days of so cautiously advancing the throttle in the ME 262 or P80 and hoping things didn't blow up 8)

And yet we nag Owl so much for putting up stuff like this. The F-1 is not a plane of World War 2, yet we all seem to be excited about his.
However, when -OWL- puts up something like this, we all want to punch him in the face. Lol.
DONT TROLL, THIS IS JUST A COMMENT!!!!
