How do you edit the default Il-2 skins? Cant figure it out - HusarDerLuft - 26.11.2009

When you select an aircraft in il-2 and a country, you are given the default skin. When you switch to a different country, the skin changes..

For example, the Fw-190F8,.. when you select it in quick mission.. the hungarian pattern is shown.. with red, white, green on the tail..



Where can I find this particular skin to edit...
I am also looking to change the default skins for romanian aircraft, because they all had the 3-color flag on the tail... Red, yellow, blue... but in the game that does not show.
Any specialists around here, that could help ?

You need SKINMOD.

I found it here on Vpmedia's website http://www.vpmedia.eu/il2/

Hi Vp - thanks again for your MOD. (Great stuff)

I need this to correct the Romanian and Hungarian skins in Il-2. As you know.. they both had the 3-color flag on the tail..and the default does not give you that.
When you play campaign that is totally unrealistic. Now its fixed.. more or less.

Maybe you have skins of the Hs129 in winter... without the markings.. just the tail flag.
I would greatly appreciate that.

I plan to use them as default skins, but they have the markings.. and i cant do that.
