I don't read Japanese, so I don't know how to download it. Can anyone help?

You can see download section at side bar of my site.

Is it possible to use it in HSFX4.1? I've installed it succesfully in UP1.8 (just "unlocked" the "-MOD" folder (removing the -), and used the default procedure), but it doesn't works at HSFX4.1. With the the procedure i used in UP1.8, the game just froze at 60%.

This is the plane i'm expecting since Pacific Fighters came out.

Edit: problem sorted.

Hello!

Unfortunatelly I don't know these planes. Had they driven from the XP-55 Ascender? As far as I know 2 or 3 were built, one crashed and the other(s) are in museum. But I don't know much about the P-55A-1CU and P-55B-1CU. Sorry... Could you give some path go on?

cockpit istruments - Cuccos19 - 18.12.2009

Hello Kodama!

Would you please post pictures from the dashboard's instrument, with some description? Unfortunatelly I could not really figured out which instrument is for what function. Especially the fuel indicator is the critical, as far as I know, this birdie has very low fuel capacity. Some times

Thank you, Kodama for your answer!

I try to figure out, which instrument for what. I usually don't worry about the fuel amount because Japanes planes have a lot. Only worry if my tanks get holes from something. I didn't know that Shinden have such a lot fuel. It's nearly twice as the Bf-1O9s! Although the stronger and bigger engine of the Shinden likely eats much, but I didn't expected that.

Will you do sometime the further finishing on the Shinden? I love this aircraft, it really flys gourgeously! Only my regret that it had been designed with 3Omm slow firing cannons, but I can score hits on smaller and more agile planes with these cannons, too, fortunatelly.

Cheers, and Merry Christmass to you!

Gunsight and gunports - Cuccos19 - 09.01.2010

Great work Kodama! We have the gunsight and the modelled gunports now. Gunsight makes me really easier to hit the target, thanks! No chance for the B-29s, and big help when chaseing the those pesky Mustangs. I wondering, what would be if Japanes put this plane into large scale production, equipped with Ho-5 20mm cannons use against fighters, like Mustangs, Corsairs and Lightnings. :?:

Edit: sorry, Shinden would be a IJN fighter/interceptor, not IJA. So Type 99 later/latest variants would be used on it instead of Ho-5, if it would be... I think, it would be a nice "what if?" option to add some 4x20mm cannon (with 150-200rpg) to the Shinden, making it a really top notch gunfighter against Allied fighters. Maybe Japanes would do that, if the war goes on. Maybe.

Any chance of these aircrafts, Kodama?

Improved skin of J7W1 from Aviaskins - Uzin - 09.01.2010

Improved skin of J7W1 from Aviaskins by Myshlayevsky:
http://forum.aviaskins.com/showthread.php?t=1221
Just d/l file J7W1.RAR (1881 KB) from there, backup your folder containing the latest version of J7W1,
and paste the extracted patch folder J7W1 into your MODS folder, let overwrite.
The patch improves the appearance of the crate, which seemed too dark originally.

Will this skinmod work fine with Kodama's latest gunported version?

I think so, but try it (after backup of the former folder).

- Cuccos19 - 09.01.2010

Okay, it works fine, but I cannot see the difference. I mean the colour, or the shade of the colour. Maybe others can.

Well, perhaps cannot help you, I see that now the plane is not so dark as before, it is more shiny, more as other planes in Il2.
