HDR (High Dynamic Range) photography usually uses three or more pix taken at +1,0,-1 exposure and combines them

to have a go download the free program Photomatix and then copy one of your screenshots...load both the copy and original into the prog ...and tweak the sliders

Great shot, but from a historical standpoint,

the ships should practically reach the horizon, and they should be farther out.

EDIT: oops. thought this was normandy...

they should probably still be farther out with more transports, but again, great shots
