DE Award images disappeared - DoktorWho - 28.11.2009

Since installing latest U.I my non-standard DE award images have disappeared. Lettering is there and award "box" but no image. I think I remember reading there is a work around for this. I've searched but no luck. Can anyone offer help? Thank you in advance. DW

I have the same experience with HSFX 4.0, with stock awards. I remember it can be solved with a certain java class, but I forgot which one, and I am still looking for the fix...

Try this:

Go to C:\...\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 \Missions\Campaign\DE and change all award file names by awardh. For example:

award0 --> awardh0

award1 --> awardh1

and so on....

Working here with disappeared Finnish medals picture in game.

Same problem here with my DE awards. I've tried your sugestion but it did not work. Should I rename all files or just those concerning to images?

You don't have to change image files names (tga)... only award files (seven). Like in this image:



You don't need delete the original either. Simply copy them to other folder, change names and paste them in the DE folder again. Ready to go.
