No No, that exports Gmax files to IL2. I need IL2 msh files exported to Gmax.

I don't think there is one for gmax.

search a bit more intensively and you will find here a tool to convert .msh to .obj or .3ds!

BTW: gmax is the little brother of 3dsmax.. the fadtduck exporter works also for gmax

I had a similar problem. When I converted IL2 mesh to 3DS, GMAX was not able to read it. My solution was to open the converted 3DS file with MeshLab (which is a free download), then resave it as a 3DS file with MeshLab. After doing it this way GMAX was able to read it. I don't know why, but it works for me.
