Installing ui 1.1 then 1.2 - odd occurrence - me210/410? - ml8ml8 - 30.11.2009

Hi gamers

I played around with UP 1.8 ( which I should not have done ) then all got in a mess due to registry entiries, so I uninstalled il2, reinstalled il2 and in sequence ui 1.1 and ui 1.2, then at least I could play online agian.
This is the same setup I had 2 weeks ago and after I installed ui 1.2 I noticed that hey! the me210 and me410 has a new cockpit and not that of the bf110. When I did the reinstallation, even after installing ui 1.2 the me210/410 still has the bf110 cockpit, what the....

I am so frustrated now, how do I get that cockpit back now? and dont tell me to download the me210 cockpit made by some modder cause its not the same, ui 1.2 has a different cockpit for the me210/410 but as said, I suddenly dont see this anymore.

All help appreciated.

Gee thanks everyone for the overwhelming assistance.
hsfx 4.0 installation was also a disaster, I wish that people are forced to write decent installation guides.
Ohhh yes ppl forget to mention, dont bother installing hsfx 4 if you have 1946, if you install it to the correct directory it does the weirdest things, it e.g. puts the MODS folder not in the root dir, gfms.exe ( I think ) is nowhere to be found and dont expect to patch the root game folder from a successful install made to another dir. What a disaster.
It looks as if hsfx was written for Pacific Fighters.
