I have both the old AAA version of Il-2 with QMB Pro installed, but lately I've been flying more and more in my install of Il-2 with UltraPack 1.8.

The thing is, with Ultrapack, if I install QMBPlus, the game ctd at 60%, so i just leave it out.

Now my question is - with the AAA, I put QMB missions in the QMB/missions/quick folder, but I do not know where to put these QMB missions in my UP install. I've looked for obvious folders, but haven't found any.

Any suggestions on where to put them? I feel silly for asking, but QMB missions have always been a source of mystery to me, I mean how to create them and where to put them and such ...

I am sorry, but I have not yet UP 1.8 installed, only v1.7. and not using it for a long time. My install is as it follows from readme.txt file:

"
Missions were tested on IL2 Sturmovik 1946 v. 4.09 with SAS Mod activator v.2.2 :
http://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,1008.0.html
and SAS QMB Pro v.2.0 :
http://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,34.0.html .
FatCat's QMB+, QMBPlus or QMBMinus may be used , too.
"

I shall see, what is the proper way of adding QMB+ into UP and eventually let to know later. Sorry for inconvenience, so far.
EDIT:
As for HFSX v4.0, I succesfully installed QMBMinus into ...Il2 Sturmovik 1946/Mods/ folder, and the *.mis files into ...Il2 Sturmovik 1946/Missions/Quick/ folder, and game runs well. Again, the preceding installation of SAS mod activator over HFSXv4.0 install is necessary .This will create the /Mods folder and /Quick folder. I suppose, the situation is similar with HaDeS UP1.8. Visit his pages for more info.

No inconvenience at all. I appreciate anyone who makes and shares things for the game. I can always use them in my old AAA install, but starting it up gives me enough time to make a cup of tea before it's loaded and ready to use ... ha ha

QMB Pro - mort 1 - 02.12.2009

I run UP 1.8 and one of the first things I did was install QMB Pro. You must first activate the MODS folder (drop the -) and simply place the QMB Pro folder in. Should be fine from there. There a number of threads regarding this at the UP site.

Thanks, I did what you suggested about the first day i installed UP ... ha ha. But I finally got it working after today's posts ... I still don't really know what i did differently since I was fooling around with version 2.0 from a previous inmstall and then with QMBProPal or something .... and made a lot of entries in the own quick.ini file and in config.ini ...

But at least it is working for which I thank all who posted here.

Four to four missions - Uzin - 03.12.2009

Because some people dislike the fifth flight in QMB missions, I purified the pack
by removing that one in all missions. The link is here:

Who prefer the original pack, the link is still in the first post of this thread.

Thank you for creating some quick missions for this Arctic map by Mixx! In my opinion the best IL2 map I've ever seen. Big Grin
In HSFX v4.1. I had already created a Mods folder with in it my 'good old' QMBV2, so I put your .mis files in that folder and after adding the necessary line in my conf.ini everythings works now.

@Lejo,
