How does map-maker know the spawn points? - fabianfred - 04.12.2009

When we make a map...we lay out the points for parking a/c at the airfields....but if the map is used in DF....how do we know which points are going to be used as spawn points....and how many there are?

i think you can set the spawn points in the full mission builder plus. it is a little mod which also allows you to change height of the terrain and create roads, railways, etc.

In the radius of the Home Base circle.

How does a user know this, there is no way unless the map maker let's it be known.
Check out Zuti's readme for his Slovenia map,it is a very detailed ReadMe with pics of airfields in map maker with spawn points

As for where do you spawn online,I noticed that you spawn in the nearest available spawn/stop waypoint that is in the middle of the field closest to the runway and everyone there after spawns in the next closest available spot and so on and so forth down the line they spawn out to the edge or last spawn/stop point.
Or so it seems from testing my WF map online.
