desperatly need help - shadow1249 - 05.12.2009

I did a fresh load of the basic il2 1946. When done i went to the load screen to make sure it was ok
only to find that iin the left hand corner instead of saying v 4.07 it said v4.09 stopped at 5% and
then crashed i tried loading mods on top and the same thing happened.
I had the game on before and it worked fine until i uninstalled and reloaded it. Im running on Wndows Vista
can anyone help me on how to fix this problem it would be appreciated.

Did you make sure EVERYTHING had been deleted out of the Ubisoft folder
before reinstall ???
