rearmin, refueling, repair - hsfx 4.1 - burns - 07.12.2009

I can't figure it out. I've tried using fmb to put 'box'es, 'tank's, and 'workshop' into my map but I still can't r/r/r.

the .pdf mentions setting up "map".ini file with coordinates.

I have no idea where the coordinates come from or how to setup the map's .ini file.

HELP!

Try putting an [AlternativeAirfield] section in your mission file, so that the alternative airfield overlays the airfield you want to have R/R/R. This section takes the form ...

[AlternativeAirfield]
X1 Y1 X2 Y2 R

where X1 & Y1 are the X-Y map coordinates for one corner of a box around the airfield & X2 Y2 are the X-Y coordinates for the opposite corner of that box and R is a radius vector. I place a rocket launcher in these positions in FMB, then got the map coordinates by text editing the rocket launcher X-Y's into the [AlternativeAirfield] airfields section & deleting the rocket launchers.

Here's a RL example section for two airfields with R/R/R ...

[AlternativeAirfield]
67672.12 40441.98 69695.62 40057.69 2.45
66655.100 38185.01 67273.38 37000.66 2.45

Thanks. Finally have it working.

Zuti, why did you make the commands different from coop to dogfight?
Those of us who use Shoot for 'speech to text', allowing us to verbalize the commands, will have a big problem.

Could you make the r/r/r commands the same in both coop and dogfight? All from the ground command maybe?

Just change the dogfight radio main menu so Anyone help me is key 7, ground control is back to being key 8, and
Frequency is key 9. Then everything would be compatible.

I'm interested in this but I'm not sure that I'm following this quite right could you give us a brief map file with both the "rockets" and the alternative airfield so we can open it up and see it visually? Thanks

Hi,

I've got the same problem as burns and I've tried to use that [AlternetiveAirfield] advise, but I can't get it working. How long/short should this radius vector be? Is there any detailed manual for this basically simple function? Another question: should this r/r/r work with coop missions as well as dogfight missions?

Thanks,
Jami
