Removing redundant UI downloads? - Metatron - 13.12.2009

I'm happily using HSFX as of now, however I suspect a lot of newcomers here might think that the UIs are up to date. Would the community benefit from less choice and less confusion?

+1

Seems daft recommending people to use HSFX when the main download on AAA is still UI 1.2.

We should just provide a link to HSFX 4.1 http://www.242sqn.com/phpBB2/viewtopic. ... highlight=

HSFX still has links to its older redundant incarnations. In a similar way it seems a bit of a shame to unceremoniously bin all those months of work and effort that went into the UI just like that with no record of them or anything. However, we're working on the forum to make HSFX far more easy to find and use, and have its own forum section like the UI had.

+1. Also, the UI is only redundant in the way of files. If one d/led it and added newer mods, it wouldn't be redundant.

True, only people seem to be less inclined to release individual mods any more.. I like SAS for doing just that!

Yes. Which is why small mod packs, IMHO, are the way forward Wink
