Mouse pointer issue with 1.2 - boris_159 - 15.12.2009

Since I installed 1.2, I am having a weird problem with my mouse. For some reason it stays as the Windows pointer instead of the IL-2 yellow arrow. Also it doesn't go away, it stays on the screen even when I am in game. It is just a minor annoyance unless I'm in a bomber and want to man the turrets, as it limits the range of motion to about 30 degrees.

I've tried the ctrl+alt+delete and windows key method but it still stays as the windows cursor. I can click the buttons etc. in menus but the problem is that I have a mouse pointer in my cockpit, it works for the map zoom etc, but stays there when the map goes away.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Another forum search yielded the solution. In case anyone else has this problem, I simply replaced the MOD conf.ini with a vanilla one and voila, problem solved.

Hello boris_159,

the solution is perhaps this: in the conf.ini find

[rts]
.....
mouseUse=1
....

change this to
mouseUse=2

and I think thats it!
