How do you continue a pilot career - Hairog - 15.12.2009
I'm about to finish Chapter One of a USAAF pilots career for WWIII 1946. I plan on continuing with 5 more chapters taking the same career next to Egypt to escort bombers then on to the Balkins for an amphibious invasion then to Turkey and maybe back to Western Europe.
Anyway I need to have a way to continue each career after the chapter is over. There will be months between chapters in real time as I do all the careers. I don't know how to have a pilot career end and then begin again.
The only way I can figure out to do it is to put a splash screen video telling you not to complete the next mission then have a bogus mission at the end of the video that you have to quit without flying.
I do this when I have been building missions and the pilot stats add up like they are supposed to.
Does anyone know a better way to have a pilot career continue after an intermission?
