Hi Everyone

The most important thing is that it's similar.
Most drawings are wrong.
A lot of times I see a real picture. And I corrected Shape.

Thank you very much. JapanCat

Hi Seehund23

There are no drop tanks in original E Series.
That's collision with Ultimate 109s Pack.
It's corrected in new Ultimate 109s Pack.

Please wait for new Ultimate 109s Pack a moment.

Hi musikerz

Please, you correct to 3D models

Thank you very much. JapanCat

Sorry, JapanCat, what does this mean? I hope you like my comparison, it is not perfect, but it really can show us some problems with the il2 109 model, they are there! Hope you and your colleagues could look into these problems and eventually correct them in your new MOD, giving us a better visual experience. And looking forward to the Ultimate 109 Pack, thank you very very much! Big Grin

Hi musikerz

The picture is true. But the angle isn't a zero.
The angle is a zero for a drawing. But the shape makes a mistake.

We don't get the truth.
Is it understood?

- Seehund23 - 30.01.2010

Thank very much for your answer JapanCat Big Grin. Waiting a New COOl 8) Update

Yeah, that's right. but I believe the sideview shape is somehow also true, most 109E sideviews I found have the same nose as the photo. if you don't believe me, I can post more sideviews.

Here is more from Aero Detail, I don't speak Japanese, but you can read them.

[Image: Aero_Detail_N_01_Messerschmitt_Bf_1.jpg]

If you think the in-game screenshot is misleading, can you please show me some il2 109E model wireframe sideviews

And if you think the sideviews from 109Lair are wrong, could you show me the your correct shapes of E, F or G, so we can better compare them with other resources?

Please, don't get me wrong, I really wanna help you to find the best shapes of 109s. If you don't think we have the truth, so let's find more resources, and compare them to the real 109 photos, then you know what is best drawing, so you can create the best 109 shapes in the history of flight simulation games. You will be a hero for us all, trust me! Smile

Truth be told even the best scale drawings have errors. Even factory blueprints should not be relied on exclusively as these are intended for marking out the general layout of an aircraft's parts and components rather than an accurate representation of it's dimensions. I've found it is best to cross compare with as many drawings and photos as possible and then if you're lucky you'll maybe get around 95% accuracy. Also bear in mind that JapanCat has to work within certain limitations unless he wants to rework the entire model. When you fix one part of the mesh you have to rework another and so on until it becomes more and more time consuming. I think the level of detail and accuracy some of us want will come with SoW.

- JapanCat - 01.02.2010

Hi everyone

109 of IL2 wouldn't be perfect.
But it's very similar.

Correcter material is necessary for any more correction with much effort.

The judgement in in-depth territory is very various by a person.
So a failed possibility becomes big.

Whoever sees, it "is similar", if, I think it's a best to stop by the level I say.

Thank you very much. JapanCat

I agree with the first part of your statement, but factory blueprints are 100% accurate!!! You might not want to take into account side views where eletrical or hydraulical plants are shown, but a dimensional drawing from the factory drawing table is accurate to the millimetre (yes, even in the '30s)!!!
