Strange blueish-violet tint [solved] - R6nibbio - 20.12.2009
Hi everybody, posting here in the fabulous AAA forum for some help about a strange graphic "error".
I've been playing IL-2 for years but since last few months I'm experiencing a blueish-violet lighting over any plane as it gets enlightened.. even inside the cockpit!
It happens when switching on nav lights or firing guns/cannons, but also when flying nearby explosions.
Here some screenshots
Does anyone knows what does cause such freaking light?
These are some of my conf.ini settings

I believe it is the same thing again , ATI ?
disable ( untick ) :
Use Vertex Arrays
Vertex Arrays Extension
in your game setup and try it again

HolyGrail you made my day!
"Problem" solved in less than 15 minutes

Vertex arrays was used by old graphics cards to optimize performance without very significally graphics quality lost. With actual graphic cards i don

Hi HolyGrail and socorrista22198:
I have an nVidia GTX 285 - do I uncheck these as well or is this for ATI users only?
Great days all.

R6nibbio
wonderful , it works ! you're welcome
@ Plantoid 1 ,
Nvidia cards are not suffering from appearing blue discoloration symptoms ,
you can leave all Vertex Arrays as they're , it's only quick fix for some ATI cards
