Wouldn't it be more appropriate to send the mod's creator a message or email and report the problem then to make a largely publicized issue out of it?

I realise that your English language skills may be somewhat lacking in comparison to people living in Countries such as the USA,New Zealand,Britain,etc,but the way you
have expressed yourself here may be a little bit insulting to the guys who have made the mod at SAS.
Your use of the word "Gift" can only be construed as sarcastic at the least and while it's nice to know that the "one and only mod" you've ever installed from SAS is this one,
nobody really needed to know that.

Fly_Zo , you will have to remember that this is "... a substitute-franken-something, so it is not perfect..." as said by Sani, at
the SAS clubhouse, so it might be better to ask him, or tell him, about this problem you are getting.
I am sure it might not have anything to do with the Kubelwagen-model, but rather something else.
Go and ask Sani at the SAS forum, he is the right person to show this to. I am sure he will like to help out.

We really don't need all this sarcasm and arguing all the time. we common simmers are really getting fed up. I love AAA site as much as SAS and all the others beautiful sites. Really there's no need for all of this..... just my thought. it's christmas we should all be nicer...

??? do you really think SAS (or Sani) would do something like that intentionally?

I don't consider this "tone" needed in the post.

Fly_Zo if you have a PROBLEM with SAS keep it to your SELF it is not appropriate
- Triad773 - 22.12.2009
as pics worth thousand words ... There must be a more productive way to handle this then such a display of disdain :-?
I'm sure it is just a mapping error of some type that can be remedied.
Why not ask the mod's author 'WTF' or something?
Let's try to have some holiday spirit
Hope you are having a better one then I

You preach to everyone here about contacting the modder if you have a problem, and not posting crap like this Fly_Zo......where is this applied on this one? you should have mentioned it to the modder of this mod Zo, instead of posing this crap here. teach what you preach. Why is that that you are always causing crap about other peoples mods, other than the ones made by those you "trust"?
I might just be a nobody here, but I dont care if you are a man of any power here, this rule applies to everyone, including yourself, to keep things civil around here.

Wise up, man. Maybe you didn't install properly. One should always install new mod to a temporary folder initially and examine what you have. I have installed numerous SAS mods without a problem. In fact I rarely come to AAA anymore. I find SAS better. Meet their challenge and cut the whinging and griping.
might i add - Guest - 22.12.2009
where as all mod sites are very much appreciated.....
IMHO there is not a more helpful site on the net than SAS and poseing the question there would have got an instant response and either a solution to your problem
or an exsplanation as to why it does what it does.....

As you said,picture is worth a thousand words..
Look closely to this picture......you have loaded your Yak aircraft and started a mission.Console said
sFMDir = gui/game/buttons
s1 = flightmodels/m-100_series.emd
s = FlightModels/M-100_Series.emd
this is the location of your Yak's flight model and it is loaded correctly..
In the mission before this one you were driving the kubel wagen.That's why console say
m_lastFMFile = wagen
because that's the last fm used before you started new mission with the Yak.And at the bottom you have
getting fm file gui/game/buttons
Mission: Quick bla bla
which means that your Yak is using fm from buttons and not from anywhere else.
So,kubel is in every way isolated from any other plane in the game,has it's own files,meshes and it's own flight model separated from the rest fm's.And therefore cannot influence them in any way.Did you try to remove kubel and DiffFM folder?.
BTW,contents of this strange buttons file is Wagen fmd&emd.
- fly_zo - 22.12.2009
... sorry m8, this thread is not meant as critic to your mod , but rather to buttons file ... which i didn't install .
Flying stock Yak-9 and not wagen and having FM loaded from buttons file ... it doesn't make sense .
Do try stock Yak-9 with or without those files on HSFX 4.1 and you'll see the difference .
I say again this got nothing to do with your work ... only with modded stock FM in buttons file
And as old habits die slow ... i'm rather sensitive when my stock planes get messed/ changed .
