1/700 U.S.S. Lexington - planecrazydale - 24.12.2009

Merry Christmas everyone!

Just wanted to show you a couple of pics of my latest plastic kit, the Trumpeter 1/700 scale USS Lexington (1942)

My little girl has the same name as this carrier, so I felt it necessary to build her a model of it. (we usually just call her Lexie, but her full name is Lexington)

My last build was a 1/32 Wildcat, so going from that to a 1/700 ship was enough to make me go cross-eyed from the small details! Confusedhock:

I hope you all enjoy!

Dale

How big is the actual model?

Can you post a picture with something in it to provide scale?

Looks awesome--
