two axis for throttle on twin engine? - Bolelas - 25.12.2009

Simple question: wil there be more than one axis for throttle on BOB SOW, like we have in MS flight sim?
It would be very usefull, specially to taxi twin engine bombers...

In the next patch there will be.

...not only to taxi...for take-off too....especially in a strong side-wind....the present WIP Wellington is virtually impossible in this respect.
The Team D who brought us the 4.09 patch have plans to release multi-engine support ...someday??

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Thank you guys for your time Smile I dont have MODs on IL2, and if the 2 engine axis MOD comes out i will get that. But, correct me if i am wrong, i was asking about BOB storm of war, the next oleg maddox game that is not out yet. I read an all page that had joined about 200 questions on the game, (answered by oleg team and himself) and nobody had posed this one... so i was wondering if anyone had the info.

Slightly off topic, but I made multi-engine support possible in a program of mine (using autohotkey). It is very accurate and functional, and interacts with IL-2 by sending keyboard commands to manipulate the correct engine to the intended setting. Unlike other versions that may have existed of this method in the past this one is far more clever and intelligent in how to both read axis and manipulate the engines through the keyboard binds, and makes use of the 'increase power' key to be able to get the whole range from 0% to 120% in 5% increments (23 different settings thus, instead of 11 with only using the basic "power 10", "power 20" etc binds.

So far I only put in support for two axises and two engines, but I could definitely updated it to put in support for four engines.. if anyone would want that sort of thing. There's nothing stopping it from accurately having four levers controlling four engines all at the same time.

EDIT: And I am 99.9% sure that Storm of War will allow individual axis bound to every percievable engine management lever (fuel mix, prop pitch, throttle, radiator). It is easy for them to do that Smile Just clone what they have and change a few lines.
