Mission errors - relic - 25.12.2009

I have two campaigns which I'm having trouble playing because of errors. The first one is " fighterboys" an RAF campaign and the other is Battle of Britain:RAF 303 Squadron. They both use the new English Channels map (Canons). In both of these campaigns I get right to the point of flying and I get an error message. Fighterboys error message is: The instruction at "OXOfdboa57"referenced mempry at "oX14558170". The memory coulnot be read. Click on ok to terminate the program.Battle of Britain: RAF 303 Squadron error message is: Mission loading failed: Mesh 3do/humans/paratroopers/russia/mono.sim not created. I would really like to play these campaigns especially on Canons new map. Ihave no idea what thw errors mean and how to fix them. Could someone please help me out?

The RAF 303 campaign message normally means that you must enable compression in your game so it can use the Cannon map.

Thanks for your quick response.
My next question is how do I enable compression?

Thanks

Open the config.ini file in your game's main folder using wordpad. Look for [Render_OpenGl] and under that find "TexCompress=" set the value to read "TexCompress=2" save the changes and exit. This sets your graphics card's texture compression to S3CT, which should enable the map to run without errors.

I took your advice and changed the texcopress from 0 to 2 and both errors were fixed.
Thank you very much for yor help! !

This is one of the most commonly asked questions here. It should be made sticky or placed in some sort of FAQ! Maybe it already is?
