Focke Wulf 190-A5+ Spiral Spinner Layer - nzwilliam - 26.12.2009

Hi guys.

A while back I was looking for a skin or template with a tighter spiral for the Fw 190's spinner...and couldn't find one anywhere! Found out why when I went to try and make one myself, it's not easy at all because its not particularly logical in how it's been mapped.

After allot of mucking around I've come up with this:





It works well on 190-A5, A6, A7, A8 and A9. However on the A2, A3 and A4 it will have a kink in the spiral and not look quite so flash. I can tinker with it and adjust it for earlier models if there's enough interest....or feel free to do it yourselves :wink:

Just two layers of a template, the spiral layer and background colour layer. Just copy and paste the layers into your template, re-colour, texture and muck around with them however you like.
