Is this a possibilaty ? - Saburo Sakai - 27.12.2009

I have been thinking about this for a long time now and think it would solve a few problems that people have RE new planes.
here is the idea.

every new plane comes with its own buttons file, specific to its A/C

This way, there would be no need for multiple installs and buttons files. i know it would take an editor a long time to sort out in the begining, but as with all mods, it would get easier to do over time.

Just a thought

This system is already used for example in the Jeep and Kubelwagen mod at SAS, and it's called DiffFM mod. However, this system has not been allowed at AAA (at least earlier).

i like the idea very much Tongue Tongue , but only if it's certain that we get an authentic as much possible aircraft and not some plane with superman powers 8) or am i talking nonsens now?

all are right, but i think if done this way, then adding new planes via jsgme would be a lot easier, and all new planes i think should still be vetted before recompiling to sfs format Smile

The RAAF Kittyhawk Ia and III use this method. It unfortunately was banded here at AAA earlier, so you can find it over at SAS.
