VAP-250 broken? - illegalBeagle - 28.12.2009

This is the incendiary munition for the il-2, it has been broken for a long time in my mod installs, but seems to work ok in stock 4.09. Specifically, the munition won't release.

Any known issues/fixes?

I wonder if it is an issue with the bomb bay doors mod. Have you tried "opening" bomb bay doors in the Il-2 before release?

That's it. Thx mate, even the dispensers hang below the wings, the doors need to be opened.

Maybe there are bomb bay doors in the dispensers so the balls of fire dont pour from the pipes before you are over target.

I think it is just that the sim considers it a submunition like the PTABs, which requires you to open the doors on the Il-2 (not historical, I believe). Although the VAP is external, it is not a droppable munition.
