4.07 Bone stock game off the cd freezes at 95 percent? - BigMills - 03.01.2010

What the title says. No mods of any sort. Goes to the loading screen. makes it to 95 percent and then freeezes. I have vista and Nvidia card. Anyone know what the problm is?

Which Nvidea card? Did you install the game to program files? I have heard that Vista has issues with il2 if you do this. See if you can install to your games folder, if you have'nt done so already.

I'm not really sure what could be causing this but it might help to have more info. If I'm not mistaken, the 9200 is an older card, but I think it still should run Il2 alright. Do you have the latest drivers for this card installed?
Did you open Il2setup and try changing any of the graphics settings?
Did you try reinstalling the game in case you had something go wrong with the install? This seems like a really strange problem for a fresh install of the game.

Some very distant bell ringing is making me suggest setting sound sample rate to 22050 in il2 setup.exe.

I do recall 95% crashes being related to this ,but on what version or mods or not IDK.
