I need to change the amount of fire emitted during the B-29 startup,,,is there a way I can change it? I had a friend over to show him IL2 and he wanted to see the B-29. I put it on and showed the startup from outside the plane,,he said the fires was wimpy and he told me his job was to hold the fire estinqusher during startup on the B-29 in case of fire,,he said alot of fuel was sprayed out the exhause than a larrge plum of fire and smoke at startup..much more than it shows in game.

All available planes share the same start up effects files , if you give huge exhaust fire for B-29 engines ,
it will look ridiculous with fighter planes
Anything is possible it just require Java class files editing , not something everybody is eager to do it .
