new Korean War mission, Final Flight! - Beowolff - 09.01.2010

a small-ish NON-Historic mission i worked up while waiting for DCG to get fixed for UP:200 so i can do a DCG campaign. Btw, you really need HSFX or especially UP 2.00 mods to fly this mission!

***Final Flight of TWA 239***

setup:

Early 1950's during the Korean War. The U.N. have contracted TWA (Trans World Airlines) to fly an important South Korean diplomat from Korea to Japan for secret talks. However, North Korean Intelligence forces have discovered this, and have organized a 'hit' team of Mig Pilots to blow the DC-3 right out of the sky! An incognito Vet Soviet Airforce fighter pilot will lead three N-Korean pilots on the mission.

Sabre pilots on routine patrol out of Japan 'may' happen upon the hit and attempt to mix it up with the Migs...

PLEASE read the included ReadMe file. And please place the correct folder (with mission files only) into your 1946/Missions/Net/Coop folder. i always use the 'coop' feature to play my own "offline" missions with, though naturally you can use it online too. if you want to convert it to basic singleplayer, merely go into it in FMB and check PLAYER plane on the aircraft you want to fly.

i hope you enjoy this simple, little mission (it's pretty tough!) and by the way, you'll need some proper Korean Air War Sabre/F-80/Mig skins...available here on AAA or at Mission 4 today or other fine locations. you'll also need the TWA airline skin for the C-47 available at Mission 4 Today... really, having some good skins REALLY adds to excitment, eh?
