Gun Cam - Gypsy9 - 10.01.2010

Although there are many ways to get gun cam footage i've been use the following method.

First i record a ntrk of the action then I re-record using fraps and 6dof to get close to the sight I then process in movie maker (free with XP) this video shows better what i mean.

I'm in a Bf-109F and the target is a Mig note that it is possible to try a long shot owing to the centrall installed (in fuse) armarment configeration on the 109, X 2 machine guns and X 1 cannon.
The cannon has a slower rate of fire and the speed of its rounds are also slower than that of the machine guns, however in this example its one strike and your out! as the first burst kills the pilot with a cannon round entering the cockpit.
The second burst is to range the final lethal cocktail of cannon and machine guns. Note the last strike is cannon just aft of the prop hub.

What a great game this is in that you can see all the grizzly detail, thank god its not for real, massive respect to those who in another time and place had to do this for real.

Good video! Big Grin

Why you don't made it with the "wonder woman" camera? (ctrl+F1)
Then you can hit the "del" key to zoom and you will have a clean screen without the gun sign or anything else, like the footages in the youtube.

Just my 2 cents.

Thanks Santobr,

I wanted to keep the gun sight in the video as it gives an idea of how to use the sight in rangeing the concentration of fire.
