Activating Mods using JGSME - Beachy - 15.01.2010

I now have great graphics, good frame rates and in general I am very happy with it all. What I am not sure about is when I activate one mod, then think I will put another in, such as Carrier take off mod, then say Zuti 1.01 I get tha swag of messages like this,

"0cb3f1bcb9db0050" has already been altered by the "01_Carrier Takeoff Mod 5.3.3" mod.

Is it safe to activate the mod any way or do I disable the mod it refers too??

Thanks, Jeff

That's a pretty common warning from JSGME, and usually, you can safely ignore it. The software does a pretty good job of keeping track of those changes. In this particular example though, I would point out that ZUTI DSMod incorporates the Carrier Takeoff Mod, so you really should not have both of those enabled at the same time.

So far in 4.1 install I've had no luck in making this utility work for new mods- If I try them with it - nothing happens - if I do it the old fashioned way ,manually drop them im Mods folder I get results.
Am I missing the boat somehow?

First with the Zuti mod active you DO NOT
need to make the carrier mod active.
It is part of the ZUTI.

As for adding mods - Funny thing at times the JSGME works and with others
is does not.
I only have two mods- The Pat smoke mods is in the mods folder and works fine.
The normal lits mods is in the JSGME and it works fine.

Gentlemen, I thank you for your information. I was thinking that I would make the carrier mod standalone disabled when I did activate the Zuti mod, but being older does not necessarily make one certain of all the facts.

You guys are awesome in the tireless support you give to us less knowledgeable types.
