We alreadyhave horse object, wagon object, driver object so: - lowfighter - 20.01.2010
So we can have a moving horse-wagon-driver vehicle. It's probably 10 minutes work for someone who can open a new vehicle slot then adjust the horse wagon and driver relative positions in the hier file...Any of the experts?
It will add immersion, remember eastern front...

An interesting idea - AFAIK the majority of supply transport used by the Wehrmacht was horse-drawn, particularly on the Eastern Front.
However, it'll take a bit more work than you envisage - horses legs would need to be animated for it to look right, and I'm not sure if this is feasible (IIR the idea for taxiing aircraft was abandoned for this reason).
But - if it can be done - why not?

I would be pretty happy even if the horse is not animated (that's why I was saying it won't take too much to do it). In flight and with normal field of view it will not matter so much. It would look bad if you place one 20 meters away from runways etc...

We have human figures which don't move so why not a horse? A man in Il-2 doesn't look bad from the cockpit.

An 8 legged horse with a .txl file for skins masking the alternate 4 in alpha could work

Cool idea, have to contact delvpier who did the horse
Then we can similarly have infantrymen with 4 legs and for arms and so on!:drinking:
If I have some spare time I'll try to do the in-animated version. Since I can't open new slots I guess I'll just sacrifice for the tests one of the vehicles we have...
