Water that isn't water - huor - 01.02.2010

Hello

I follow the tutorial Map building tutorial by kevinp http://allaircraftsimulations.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=14643

All seams to be good but when i fly the water (sea, rivers, lagoons...) doesn't have the behavior of water, seems like soil (for example, the plane can landing on water)

Really i don't now whats seems to be the problem, its the first map i have created.

Your map temperature might be around zero and the water is acting like ice.
Set the Temp to a higher value in the load.ini and the water should splash

making sure that your camouflage setting in the load.ini is NOT winter is also helpful in making sure you don't get ice instead of water

this OK:
CAMOUFLAGE = SUMMER
CAMOUFLAGE = DESERT

not this:
CAMOUFLAGE = WINTER

ahhh yes!, sure is temperature and/or the camouflage!
I was played with the values in INI file before I fly and forget it.

PS (off topic): How can I set a real dark night? (i set declination about 80 degrees/points, but still have a little gloss in the horizont from moon and sun)
